Agent Gateway

HVT SWITCH™ live-gate arbitration: fail-closed on every consequential action./A checkpoint every agent action must pass.

Architecture term (Salem Salah bin Omair AlShamsi)/Plain English

The gateway intercepts each tool call, verifies identity and evidence, applies policy, and returns ALLOW, REQUIRE APPROVAL or DENY. Unknown equals Safe Hold./Every action goes through one door. The door says yes, asks a human, or says no. If it is unsure, it waits.

The problem

What goes wrong without it

01

Agents call tools directly, bypassing governance./Agents reach systems with nothing watching.

02

Decision logic is scattered across prompts and code./Rules are spread everywhere.

03

There is no single point to stop an agent./No one place to hit stop.

How HVT handles it

Four steps, in order

1

Intercept

Tool calls are routed through the gateway./Actions are sent to the door.

2

Verify

Identity and evidence level are checked./Who is asking, and how sure are we?

3

Decide

Policy returns a decision with the matched rule./The rules give an answer and the reason.

4

Execute

Approved acts run through a bounded adapter./Allowed actions run safely.

What you get

Key capabilities

Three outcomes

ALLOW, REQUIRE APPROVAL, DENY./Yes, ask a person, or no.

Sub-millisecond stop

Emergency stop measured at P50/P95/P99 (per the patent-pending design)./Very fast emergency stop.

Drop-in

Python, JavaScript and HTTP interfaces./Works with the tools you use.

Full record

Each decision hash-chained./Everything is logged.

Example

Before and after

Without HVT

An agent writes directly to a payments API./An agent pays money with nobody checking.

With HVT

The call is held at the gateway until policy and a named approver agree./The payment waits for rules and a person.

Illustrative scenarios. Controls shown are design intent, confirmed by the gates on your own infrastructure.
